A courtyard house in the old town: our own coffee, our own mural, tables to work at and people from everywhere. Steps from the Chorro de Quevedo.

01The courtyard
One courtyard, a hundred stories.
Everything at Yarumo happens around the courtyard: the first coffee of the day, a laptop open beside the plants, a conversation that starts in English and ends in Spanish.
By day, light slides down the corridors; at night the lamps come on and the courtyard turns into the living room.
Right now in Bogotá:

03Café Yarumo
People come for the coffee. Then they stay.
Café Yarumo is the house brand: a Caturra Blend served in the courtyard, which has also come in bags to take home — ask if there’s any around.
Cappuccinos, tinto, something to eat and conversation with a courtyard view. Just coming for coffee? Ask us about the menu and today’s hours.

04Coworking
Your office could have a courtyard.
Good coffee. A little focus. Bogotá steps away.
- Free Wi-Fi for guests.
- House coffee and food a few steps from your table.
- Natural light, plants and good music — the house’s own words.
- The courtyard to stretch your legs between calls.
- La Candelaria outside for the lunch break.

05Community
The Yarumo family.
Travellers passing through, neighbours dropping in for a tinto, artists painting, photographing or filming in the courtyard. That’s what the house proudly calls the Yarumo family.
Volunteers from abroad have joined the team for a few weeks at a time, too. If you’re curious, ask — there isn’t always a spot.

06Art in the courtyard
Art lives here.
On a courtyard wall, Van Gogh sips a coffee under his starry night. Tap the dots for a closer look.

1 The signature
Top left: “@German Murat”. The mural was painted right here in the courtyard in early 2024.
2 The cup
Van Gogh holding a cup of coffee — hard to think of a better patron saint for a hostel-café.
3 The stars
Straight out of “The Starry Night”, made of rings of brushstrokes — the source of this site’s gold ornament.
4 The bench
There’s a wooden bench right below: sit down and you’re in the painting.
5 The door
Beside it, a dark wooden door like those of La Candelaria’s old houses.
